Elitist or something?

I wish things would stop being dumbed down to the level of the lowest common denominator. There, I said it. postscript: well, maybe I should rephrase. It's fine to explain things such that anyone can understand, but I just don't think we should CATER to the lowest common denominator by changing things based on lack of knowledge.
