Life is so confusing

OMG, I feel soo stupid! I started watching last night's People's Choice Awards unknowingly...it was just cued up. It started like the Big Bang Theory and then Kaley Cuoco -- who's on that show -- on the show -- got to host the People's Choice Awards. Well, then they kept going with People's Choice...I thought I was watching the Big Bang Theory. So I was like, "Why are they still doing this? This is so stupid." bla bla bla. Then I was told that it really IS the People's Choice Award. That didn't make sense to me. Now it all seems even more staged than ever. I hate these shows.
