I am very gradually going through some old pictures. I'm not sure what to do with them, so maybe I'll start a blog just for pictures. For now, here is 17-year old Nicole...I think the summer after high school graduation and a month or two before I left for college. Here I sit with the plaintive 'y' pretzel. (don't ask, but my friend Reb and I spent half that afternoon finding things shaped like the letter 'y' and going on and on about the "plaintive y." Notable in the picture: my totally rad pop swatch, my Dead Milkmen concert t-shirt about 18 sizes too big, and big hair. Never mind the pretzel massacre happening on the table in front of me...
